What Does Timothy Bosque Do When He’s Not Teaching?

· Education,teaching,Sports,Football Coach,Math Teacher

Timothy Bosque is a well-respected member of the community in San Rafael, California. He served Marin County as a teacher for 31 years, following after his father who taught for 30 years. Teaching and tutoring are Timothy’s main passions, but he finds time for many other things outside of school hours. His former students may be surprised to discover Timothy has a range of interests and hobbies outside of campus, including:

  1. Volunteering. This might not come as a surprise for students who have come to know Timothy’s big heart. He spends lots of his spare time volunteering at homeless shelters, soup kitchens, and as a youth group leader. He’s always looking for more projects and strives to help as many people as possible.
  2. Sports. Timothy Bosque is a sports enthusiast. He worked as a football coach while teaching for more than 25 years. He took one of his teams to a championship after building its capabilities. Timothy will be 60 in May, but he still plays football on the weekends. He also plays softball and basketball.
  3. Spending time with family. When he’s not too busy teaching, tutoring, or volunteering, you might find Timothy spending time with his family. He’s a family man who loves to spend quality time with those who matter most to him. Timothy even traveled to Ireland once to visit a cousin.

Timothy’s friends describe him as caring, compassionate, and empathetic. He treats each person he’s with like the most important person to him – which, he says, they are when he’s with them. Timothy Bosque is now enjoying retirement and seeking new volunteering opportunities.
